Shola Adekoya is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with over 20 years of healthcare experience. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from the University of Maryland, Baltimore in 2000. She has worked as a registered nurse in a diverse range of specialties, including critical care, cardiac care, employee health, and pre and post-operative care.

​She went on to obtain a Master of Science in Nursing from Coppin State University and holds a national certification with the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) as a family nurse practitioner. In her spare time, she loves to read, travel and enjoys long walks with her dog, Milan while listening to gospel music. She is also an active member of her local church.
